As if yoga on land weren't challenging enough! For all you yogis that would like to take it up a notch, paddleboard yoga may be your new jam. We'll be offering SUP yoga every Sunday morning beginning June 16th with certified SUP yoga instructor, Sarah Krause. Sarah is excited to combine her passion for yoga with her love of paddling. Yoga on an unstable surface brings an entirely new set of challenges into the game. Bring a bathing suit, a sense of humor, and expect to get wet!
Classes will be on Sunday mornings from 9-10:30AM, weather permitting. Select your date from the drop down menu above. Feel free to bring your own board or hop on one of our wide stable inflatable SUP's. Boards, paddles and pfd's are provided. Some basic paddleboarding and yoga experience is recommended, as the focus of the class will be on yoga, not basic paddling technique. If you've never been on a paddleboard, take an Intro to SUP lesson offered on Monday evenings or Saturday mornings before trying to do SUP yoga.
All SUP Yoga classes start from the Burlington Surf Club located in Burlington's south end on the campus of HULA Lakeside at: 32 Lakeside Ave Burlington, VT 05401 .
