Soundsurfer Waterman's Challenge - Bridgeport, CT - Saturday, June 18th

The 2016 Soundsurfer Waterman's Challenge is one of the Northeast's largest stand up paddle event with races, lots of family fun and great food and music. Yes, they have races, and yes, some of the country's top paddlers come out for the event. But really, the focus is on the sport itself- Stand Up Paddling- and for the first time this year, they will have other types of paddlers as well including kayaks and surf skis as well. The ultimate goal is to support children and the environment while having a great day out on the water. The day's events include demos, paddleboard instruction, live music, and 3 races for all skill levels. The event will include additional divisions this year for Surfskis, OCs and Kayaks. (6 MI Elite, 3 MI Open, 3 MI Rec, 1 MI Kids, Relays and Sprints)
