Description

Ever look out onto Lake Champlain and wish you were one of the sailors out there? If so, this is the lesson for you. From raising the main sail and reading the wind direction to gybing and tacking, this is a cover-all intro to the sailing world.

This class is designed for first-time sailors or those who need a refresher before getting back out there. You will learn on one of our Hobie Cat 16' or 18' boats, and be able to transfer your skills to any sailboat moving forward.

All Learn to Sail lessons take place at the Burlington Surf Club located in Burlington's south end on the campus of HULA at 50 Lakeside Avenue in Burlington.
