This is the first year we'll be offering the Burlington Surf Club Camp for Kids ages 7-11. We're pumped to be bringing some variety to our camp menu for kids who would love to spend time on the beach and in the lake at our brand new Burlington Surf Club Location. Kids will arrive on site at 9AM and be picked up at 4:00. The activities will change daily and include stand up paddling, stand up paddle polo, beach games, yoga, hip hop and art projects in our brand new open air beach front pavilion. This camp is designed to engage the kids with their environment through the sport of stand up paddling as well as beach related movement and play activities along a stunning piece of the Burlington waterfront. We'll keep them moving, swimming, paddling, playing and creating in this full day camp.
The kids will be inspired and energized all day with our experienced counselors and guest instructors in various disciplines. Sarah Cover, owner of the Urban Dance Complex will teach hip-hop. WND&WVS manager and former art teacher Ali Marchildon will provide daily art and craft activities, and WND&WVS owner Roxanne Scully will teach a dynamic movement class called NIA - a fusion of dance, martial arts and yoga. There will be plenty of active time, and plenty of time to chill on the spectacular campus of the Burlington Surf Club. Views of the Adirondacks, sandy bottom swimming, volleyball court, shady lawn, and post and beam equipment barns housing top of the line waterman's toys: it's a gorgeous stretch of beach with an experienced staff and lifeguards to guide the kids through a week of beachfront fun and games.
We'd suggest that your child be a confident swimmer if enrolling in this camp. Children will be required to wear PFD's at all times when paddling. Camps run each day rain or shine. Ages are 7 to 11. Price is $375 for the week. Unfortunately we can't book partial weeks. You can book as a group or individually. This camp is offered for 3 weeks this summer (6/18-6/22, 7/9-13, 7/16-20) and enrollment is limited to 12 kids per/wk.
