Molokai 2 Oahu Paddleboard World Championships

Molokai 2 Oahu - July 31st

On July 31, 2016 the world's best paddlers will once again converge on the island of Molokai for the 20th running of the Molokai 2 Oahu Paddleboard World Championships. More commonly known today as the Molokai Channel, the Ka’iwi Channel separates the islands of Molokai and Oahu. Stretching 26 miles (42 kilometers) and plunging to a depth of 2,300 feet (701 meters), the Ka’iwi Channel has the reputation as one of the world’s most treacherous bodies of water. The world's elite SUP and prone paddlers cross this grueling distance for the ultimate test of endurance, skill and grit.

WND&WVS Owner Russ Scully completed his first M2O race last year and team rider Dr. Bob Arnot is the oldest paddler to ever compete in the race and will be paddling in his 5th M2O this summer.
